We have a custom designed php website that is 90% complete that needs to be uploaded, configured and returned to it's previous state where the pages are at least linked and visible so we can see what needs to be finished.
After uploading, if the pages are visible, this will let us know that the install was a success.
We have a full backup of the site that was backed up using cPanel.
If successful, the pages will be visible, and some of the functionality will need to be re-linked. Programmer will need to understand log errors to fix the issues, but for someone with experience, they will know the process.
This project was a very complex project done by another developer, but due to various circumstances we had to go in a different direction..
So we need someone who can continue where the project finished off who can say "yes" to anything that needs to be done when it comes to programming//coding, php, configuration, and even share ideas.
We need someone who can jump into any program and code and get it configured, up and running without the need of referring back to the original programmer.
The site includes profile pages that have embedded Youtube API, video, audio and image uploads, bidding pages, internal messaging, admin area, database work, an advertising/banner ad interface and other various aspects of the site itself.
We have had experiences in the past with other different developers who mislead us about their skills on different projects (not this website) and they proved to be very disappointing.
We will be honest, if the programmer waste our time and disappoints, we will have no other choice but to contact Freelancer directly pertaining to this matter and come to a resolution. This is a serious project.
AFTER THE TASK IS COMPLETE AND WE ARE HAPPY:
If this candidate can do a good job, we will hire this candidate to become our new programmer and if all goes well will become a part of our team. They will be responsible of maintaining the site and will earn monthly passive income and receive a small percentage of the revenue once the site is up and running.
This will be an amazing opportunity for a programmer or developer who just needs a chance to become a part of something big.
If we hire the developer/coder long term and the site requires no troubleshooting issues, the developer will get monthly income just to ensure that the site runs smoothly.
Here are some of the rules and requirements for THIS project:
#1: We DON'T want to be forced to become a developers!
We have the concept and the idea and the vision and will do all the graphic work, but we do not want to be forced us to do the work we are hiring the candidate to do. All testing MUST be done from top to bottom before being presented to us for review. THIS IS MANDATORY.
We will not deal with a situation where everything is NOT tested and then given to us to do the testing work.
#2: By any means or form must the hired coder/programmer NOT, we repeat NOT try and use outside communications with us, via email, social media to bribe or extort for money request or try and drag the project longer to extort more money. This is our golden rule and it's against Freelancer policy.
Freelancer platform must be used for ALL communications.
If after the assignment is complete and we are happy, we will provide a bonus/tip which will be outside of the terms of this arrangement as a way to tip the developer/coder for their final work on this project task alone. It will be a separate bonus outside of this project guaranteed after we are happy and everything is working from the previous state.
We are great to work with, we just want to work with fair and honest people.
