Custom WordPress Web Portal for MVP Build
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
We’re hiring a skilled WordPress developer to build a custom web portal for our MVP Build. This MVP platform will handle user registration, game scheduling, team management, and dashboard access for players, coaches, and league administrators.
This project extends WordPress functionality using Custom Post Types (CPTs), ACF Pro, Contact Form 7 (CF7), and the WP REST API, and will be integrated into a broader automation system via Monday.com and ClickUp (handled separately by our internal team).
Project Overview
You’ll build the WordPress-based web portal only. Key functionality includes:
- Player and supporter registration
- Team & coach dashboards
- Game fixture scheduling
- Match result tracking
- Role-based access and display views
- Structured API endpoints to support external platform syncs
Work Structure & Collaboration

- Monday.com automation logic
- ClickUp task workflows
- Make.com scenarios and syncing between systems
Your job is to:

- Create and expose API endpoints for data exchange
- Ensure field names and structures align with Monday.com & ClickUp integration needs
- Use CF7 to build forms that can pass data into the WordPress system and trigger webhooks to Make.com
- You won’t need to handle automation setup—but your build must fully support it.
Your responsibilities:
- Web Portal Structure
- Custom post types: Players, Supporters, Coaches, Teams, Fixtures
- ACF Pro field creation (DOB, ID upload, team assignment, game stats)
- Role-based user dashboards (coach, admin, player views)
- Form Handling via Contact Form 7
- Create CF7 forms for registration and updates
- Use CF7 hooks (wpcf7_before_send_mail, etc.) to process data into CPTs or trigger workflows
- Set up Make.com-compatible webhook triggers
- REST API Development
Expose endpoints for:
- Player creation & updates
- Fixture schedules
- Match results and status updates
- Ensure endpoints are secure and structured for external HTTP POST/GET usage
- Frontend Template Implementation
- Display ACF field data in user dashboards
- Responsive views for players, games, coaches
- Apply clean styling consistent with project branding
Testing & documentation:
- Test post types, form logic, and endpoints
- Document API endpoints and CF7 flows
- Ensure full readiness for integration testing with automation lead
Tools & plugins:
- WordPress (latest)
- ACF Pro
- CPT UI
- Contact Form 7
- WP REST API
Timeline
Start: ASAP
End Date: May 30, 2025
Paid via milestones
Candidate attributes sought:
- Expert with CPTs, ACF, CF7, and REST API
- Able to map form submissions into post types and expose structured endpoints
- Comfortable collaborating with an automation/integration lead
- Strong communicator, async-ready, and deadline-oriented
- Bonus: Familiar with sports platforms, league logic, or player/team management tools
