Custom WordPress Filters and Custom Post Type development
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to create custom filters for my website: https://findelpriser.dk
The goal is to have mirrored filters, custom post type and list view like those found on: https://elberegner.dk/elpriser/
The whole idea is:
1. I should be able to make posts in the backend, based on the new custom post type you make.
The post should resemble a product from an energy provider.
2. The new post type should contain the custom fields as seen on the provided example URL
2.1. Logo [image]
2.2. Title [text]
2.3. Monthly payment possible ( yes / no) [dropdown list]
2.4. Price type (variable / fixed / combi) [dropdown list]
2.5. Binding (No / 3 months / 6 months / 12 month) [dropdown list]
2.6. Unique Selling Point banner - Green [text]
2.7. Unique Selling Point banner - Yellow [text]
2.8. Cost per kilowatt hour (kWh) [number]
2.9. Monthly payment fees [group]
2.9.1. BetalingsService [number]
2.9.2. MobilePay [number]
2.9.3. Debet card [number]
2.9.4. Payment card - e-mail / e-boks [number]
2.9.5. Payment card - letter [number]
2.10. Destination URL for the provider website [URL]
2.11. Provider name [dropdown list}
3. The posts should be shown in a list view on a page for the users
4. Each post should show the calculated monthly price as shown in the example URL (monthly price = (yearly estimate kWh usage / 12 * Cost per kilowatt hour) + the least expensive monthly payment fee)
5. As shown on the example website, there shall be a button where when clicked, will lead you to the destination URL (see: 2.10)
6. The users should be able to filter the posts by using the new custom filters that's placed to the left of the list view.
7. The posts should be ordered by cheapest to most expensive based on the calculated monthly price
Key requirements include:
- Should utilize custom post types.
- Template for the custom post should be made using Elementor
- Filters should be based on the same criterias as those found on the provided example website.
- The filter result should be presented in a 'List view'.
- Filters shall auto-update results as selections are made.
- Allowance for multiple filter selections at once.
- Implementation of a filter reset button.
- To minimize future maintenance of custom code, common WordPress plugins should be used where possible.
Ideal skills and experience include:
- Experience with Custom Post types
- Experience with custom fields
- Experience in developing custom filters for WordPress, that can filter custom post types
- Experience with Elementor / Elementor Pro
- Ability to replicate complex filter systems
- A great sense of good graphical design
