1. Project Overview: The goal is to develop a web-based sales configurator that automates the creation of dynamic technical (MS Word) and commercial (MS Excel) offers. The tool will manage PCS configurations, generate Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and include real-time pricing, dependencies, and location-based adjustments. It will also include a CRM module for managing customer and project data, with future ERP/CRM integration.
2. Scope of Work:
Frontend: Interactive UI for project configuration, PCS management, and CRM data entry.
Backend: Logic for dynamic pricing, dependencies, and offer generation.
Diagram & Document Generation: Auto-generate and export SLDs, GA drawings, and
BOMs.
Testing & Deployment: Comprehensive testing and deployment, with optional Docker/cloud integration.
3. Key Functional Requirements:
CRM: Manage customer/project data and link it to configurator-generated offers.
PCS: Manage PCS entries and trigger compatible/restricted options.
SLD Generation: Auto-generate and export SLDs.
GA Drawings: Basic layout (Phase 1) and advanced GA (Phase 2).
BOM: Real-time pricing and export to Excel/CSV.
Sales Configurator: Dynamic pricing, region-based adjustments, version control, and exportable offers in MS Word/Excel formats.
4. Deliverables:
Fully functional configurator with CRM and PCS management.
Automated export of SLDs, GA drawings, and BOMs.
User-friendly forms for PCS/project data.
MS Word/Excel templates for offer generation.
Technical documentation, user manual, and deployment package.
5. Milestones and Timeline:
Phase 1A: CRM, PCS Management, and Sales Configurator (Week 1–4)
Phase 1B: SLD and Basic GA Drawing Generation (Week 5–8)
Testing and Deployment: Week 7–8
6. Technology Stack: Freelancers can propose their preferred stack for frontend, backend, diagram generation, document automation, and deployment, ensuring compatibility with DXF, PDF, and SVG exports.
7. Testing Requirements:
Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for client review.
