We are a licensed UK and Iceland-based travel agency looking to build a modern, professional booking website that allows users to search for and book flights, packages (flight + hotel + tours), and other travel services.
Our company holds UK ATOL protection, is a member of ABTOT, and is registered with the Icelandic Tourism Board. We specialize in offering travel packages to and from Iceland and now need a central booking platform to manage and scale our sales.
We are seeking a developer or team with experience in travel technology, flight booking engines, and meta search integrations (such as Google Flights, Skyscanner, Kayak)
Scope of Work:
1. Booking Engine for Customers and Agents
• Flight search and booking system (API feed or manual fare input)
• Package builder: flight + hotel + activities
• Travel agent backend with login, markup settings, and reporting tools
• Clean and intuitive frontend for users
2. Meta Search Engine Integration
• Help us list our flight and package deals on platforms like Google Flights, Skyscanner, and Kayak
• Set up XML/API feeds or structured data as needed
3. API Out Development
• Allow partners or affiliated travel agents to access our package inventory via API
4. Payment Gateway Integration
• Support Stripe, PayPal, or similar global providers
• Include multi-currency support (USD, EUR, GBP, ISK)
5. SMS Notifications Integration
• Send booking confirmations and alerts via SMS (Twilio or similar)
6. Responsive Web Design
• Fully mobile-optimized site
• Fast, SEO-friendly, and professional-looking design
• Easy backend content management (preferably WordPress + Elementor or similar)
