Custom Simple Data Management & Role Assignment System
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
A simple data browser, editor and comments.
I will provide a file with a lot of columns (around 50 columns) . I need a interface for users and role management to manage that data in a simple way.
its a data like real state information, identified by its REFERENCE as a unique way to identify it .
So, the system can have, for example:
1) A table with all the REFERENCES (with a lot of more columns)
2) A table with users (user,email, role..no need more)
3) A table with roles (two roles in that moment will be enough)
4) A table with assigned_references, with the relationship between a user and its assigned references (user,REFERENCE)
5) A table with comments-references-users-date, so, any user should report a comment to every flat assigned, and all users can see the comments data.
This skeleton will be enough
The system has the following easy screens and tools:
1) A login screen, to enter . This screen must not allow self-register users. Users only be registered by adding them by an admin user into de backend. I don't care the colors and templates. You can use anything.
user's into the system has two roles. "admin" a "user". Admin users can do all the things, and user only can view/edit its own assigned data. Users have three atributes "email, name and role"
2) Once into the system, i should have some pages navigation
3) An admin page with several easy tools.
3.1) page to add new users
3.2) page to add new roles
3.3) disconnect
4) an "Assignement" page to assign "data" to users, to allow users with role "user "to see only its data. That page could be a easy filter like "REFERENCE, user".
A data row can be assigned to many users (i mean, a user "user1" can have REFERENCE1,REFERENCE2,REFERENCE10, and a "user2" can have "REFERENCE1,REFERENCE2,REFERENCE999)
5) A "My References", when a user only can see the assigned references from the main file references. An Admin user can view ALL OF THEM. So, the list of assigned references must show all the references (with pagination) but only several fields (not the 50 fields). I mean, the initial "grid" view , or "list view" like an excel.
The number of columns in this list view must be limited (you can use a filter in that view), and only in the case you click on it, a new "detail view" will open with the rest of the columns in a "detail view".
6) In the detail view, the system has to add a section to see the comments (in the botton, or in left/right), to see all the commends,date and user-name, and let it to add a new comment, that should be registered and saved.That detailed view could add a "google maps "link, a image and something like this.
The last thing to solve is the way to upload de data file , that can be changed frequently, i suggest two ways.
A) A option only for admins to upload the file (with several checks, of course)
B) A option to add by background in a cron job (upload file to a folder and frequently cronjob import into the system).
In any way, the data provided is the FULL data, so, the import process have to make abackup of the existent database and sustituthe the new one for the production data. The REFERENCES will remain the same, so, the comments or assignation will not be broken because the REFERENCE its the same.
Anything else at the moment. A easy project.
Technical requirements: Only PHP very simple (no vue, no javascript, no frameworks), that more flat as you can. Backend postgresql . You can use laravel but not NPM or something like this. Please this is only a internal app and the most easy the better. You can use any template, any code from other app you develop.. and so on.
