Custom Schedule
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have recently purchased a script (http://caketheme.com/script/php-quick-timetable - http://caketheme.com/script/php-quick-timetable-demo/admin/index.php admin/admin) but I would like some customisation to add better functionality, these are my requirements.
1. Admin
1.1. Basic Admin roles do not have access to categories or user panels unless Super Admin allows rights (this saves mistakes being made), hide user panel and Categories to everyone apart from Super Admin.
1.2. Basic Admin cannot delete Timetable Listings only the ones they have created themselves.
1.3. On the Dashboard, add a calendar so the admin can see the timetable without visiting the public pages.
2. Categories
When adding new categories, assign colour to it. This would remove the need for ‘Color’ under ‘Create Timetable’. This means the public can understand the colour assigned to the event under that category. For example, if I added a category called ‘Yoga’ and I assigned ‘Blue’ as the colour, I then add a new event and I have chosen the category ‘Yoga’, then Blue will automatically be assigned to that event.
3. Create New Timetable
I do not see the date doing anything at the moment, but this is what I would like.
3.1. When adding a new event to the timetable I can select a certain date or range for a one-off event, this will place that event on that specific date only.
3.2. Add a drop down which gives me an option to place weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks), one-off, and monthly events.
3.3. Trainer textbox – add a drop down for admin to change from a selected list: Trainer, Speaker, Guest, Host, and then add name.
3.4. Content text box, add CKEditor thus allowing a better visual look as this will allow styling to the text.
3.5. Add URL link
3.6. Remove ‘Color’ as this will now be made redundant due to number 2 changes.
4. Public
4.1. When viewing the month view, you have no idea what month you are looking at!
4.2. Month view, allow the public to view next or previous months (back and forth).
4.3. When the user clicks the timetable name, pop up opens (as it is now) but with the following changes.
New Trainer displayed
URL link added
I have contacted the author and he is not interested in customisation but we do have permission to change ourselves, this will be used for a small independent charity, therefore sadly their budget is very small - I hope someone can help.
