Custom Production Management Web Application
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We would like to develop a custom web application or MS Access work book for our production team. Below are the key features and workflow requirements for the website:
---
Purpose:
To create a centralized, digital platform for managing production job cards, tracking shift-wise production entries, monitoring consumption vs. BOM, posting quality reports, and integrating approved production data with Tally for inventory and production accounting.
---
Workflow Requirements:
1. Job Card Creation Module (Admin/Manager Access):
Fields to include:
Item Name
Planned Quantity
Standard Weight per Unit
Production Instructions
BOM Details (Material name, quantity, unit)
Target Output (Kg/hr) or expected machine output
Each job card should have a unique Job ID
Option to assign the job card to a particular machine/operator/shift
---
2. Production Entry (Operator Panel):
Operators can view assigned job cards
Once production starts, they can open the job card and enter the following:
Actual Quantity Produced
Material Consumed (batch-wise or total)
Start and End Time of Shift
Machine Used
Downtime (if any)
Remarks/Observations
Once the shift ends, the operator submits the data for manager review.
---
3. Quality Report Upload (Quality Engineer Access):
Quality engineers should be able to:
Upload Quality Inspection Reports in JPG format
Link reports to specific Job ID / Batch Number
These reports should be searchable and viewable in the future by entering the batch number or job ID.
---
4. Manager Review and Approval:
Managers get a dashboard to:
View pending entries
Compare BOM vs. actual consumption
Calculate production efficiency (Kg/hr) based on output and time
Highlight variances in weight, material use, or downtime
Managers can approve, reject, or request changes
Once approved, data becomes final and locked for integration
---
5. Tally Integration (Post-Approval):
Once a production entry is approved:
Generate production entry in Tally
Post raw material consumption entry based on actual use
Optional: Link Job ID with Inventory Batch/Job Order in Tally for traceability
---
Other Features:
User roles & access control (Admin, Manager, Operator, Quality Engineer)
Search and filter job cards by date, item, machine, shift, or operator
Reports export (Excel/PDF) for daily, weekly, or monthly summaries
Mobile responsive interface for operator ease
Option to set alerts for variance thresholds (e.g., weight deviation >2%)
Batch-wise quality report archive linked to production records
We want the system to be intuitive, secure, and seamlessly integrate with Tally
