Custom PHP application to Laravel (or open to recommendation)

We got a custom application that is working perfectly fine however this app needs to be protected under a membership model (including groups membership) including payment integration (accepting payments via the web or locally via check -so the client should manually allow access to members of a certain group- ) and I’m thinking that maybe re-writing the app into some sort of pre-existing framework that already includes robust and reliable libraries or add-ons might be the way to go so I’m open to suggestion.m
