As an online educational institution without a current software, we are seeking to develop a custom reporting software. Our needs are very specific and include:
- Tracking Student Progress: The software should be capable of monitoring individual student progress across multiple courses and subject areas.
- Attendance Tracking: We seek to monitor the attendance and participation levels of students in their respective courses.
- Educational Plans: The software should have provisions to capture and report individualized educational plans for students.
We currently have a wealth of data but no existing software. Therefore, bidirectional data import/export functionality is a must-have feature. As for data analysis, the software must be capable of analyzing and presenting:
- Student Performance Data: We need a deep dive into how our students are performing.
- Attendance Data: It is crucial to get insights on student participation to improve our courses.
- Student Plans: Developing insights from student plans for better decision making is a prime requirement.
Although our education platform does not have existing software, developers with prior experience in API integration, SSO integration, and student data analysis would be highly preferred. You will be working on data that currently exist without a software for integration, hence knowledge of handling raw data is key. An understanding of the modern education system, student psychology, and learning patterns can give you an added advantage in this project.
