We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce developer to build a custom checkout page for shipping with the following features:
✅ Enter sender & recipient details
✅ Select package weight
✅ Choose home pickup option (with calendar selection)
✅ Restrict shipping destinations to specific countries
✅ Display order details in WordPress backend for the admin
✅ Send a confirmation email to the customer with full details
✅ WooCommerce payment integration is handled by our team
Developers are free to use any plugins, APIs, or custom solutions to achieve the best results. The project must be completed by Friday.
? Features Required:
1️⃣ Shipping Address & Contact Details
Customers must enter:
Sender details: Name, email, phone number
Recipient details: Name, email, phone number
Google Places API integration (or a similar module) for address auto-completion.
2️⃣ Package Weight Selection
Customers must select the weight of the package from predefined options:
1 kg
2 kg
5 kg
10 kg
20 kg
Once chose a weight the user should be displayed the value of the order.
1KG: 12€
2KG: 14€
5KG: 16€
10kg: 18€
20kg: 20€
Only weight matters (package dimensions are not needed).
3️⃣ Home Pickup Option (if selected by the customer)
Customers can request home pickup for their package.
If selected, a calendar should appear to choose the pickup date.
4️⃣ Allowed Shipping Destinations
Shipping must be restricted to the following countries:
✅ Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium
5️⃣ Checkout Summary & Shipping Cost Calculation
The shipping cost must be calculated based on the selected weight.
A summary of the order should be displayed before proceeding to payment.
Integration with standard WooCommerce payment methods is required.
6️⃣ Order Visibility for Admin (Backend Access)
All order details must be saved and visible in the WordPress backend, including:
Sender & recipient contact details
Shipping address
Selected package weight
Home pickup details (if selected)
7️⃣ Confirmation Email to Customer
After checkout, the customer must receive an email with all the details, including:
Sender & recipient information
Shipping details (address, weight, pickup option)
Order summary
8️⃣ WooCommerce Payment Setup
We will handle the WooCommerce payment module setup, so no work is required on this part from the developer.
