I'm looking for a skilled designer and developer to help me create a custom online business directory with advanced search functionalities.
The directory will include essential information such as business listings and contact details. Users should be able to search for businesses based on their name, location, services, and products offered.
Key features of the project would be:
- Comprehensive Business Listings: The directory should be able to accommodate a wide variety of businesses, so a well-structured and easily navigable layout is crucial.
- Advanced Search Capabilities: Users need to be able to search for businesses based on specific criteria. This includes searching by name, location, services offered, and products available.
- User-Friendly Design: The interface should be intuitive and visually appealing, ensuring a positive user experience.
Ideal skills for this project include:
- Experience in web design and development, with a portfolio that includes directory or search engine projects.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Knowledge of user experience design principles to ensure the site is easy to navigate and use.
I’d also like the option for user to search by type of food/service offered for example if someone types “kangaroo burger” all business that offer this burger should come up on the search result. The result will be sorted by the closest to the location selected by the user.
This needs to work from a computer via normal browser and iOS android devices as well.
