I am looking for a freelancer to create an SKU system for my car and truck auto parts ecommerce company, which has millions of products.
I have an idea of what I want, but I need someone to help me bring it to life.
The primary focus of the SKU system is to organize products by vehicle make and model. I would like to manage product variations by creating separate SKUs for each variation. The ideal candidate for this project should have experience in creating SKU systems for ecommerce companies and be familiar with organizing products by vehicle make and model.

Basic Task:
Define a coding system
Prepare and maintain a list of codes for things like manufacturers, years, model, vehicle type, product type etc.

I have a set of windows files and folders on my computer.
I have created a basic file structure, which you can check over.
It seems like I need to make new SKU numbers for every single product I have. This is because my current SKU's are too long for many platforms.
This increases the time to upload and create 10,000 products on new websites.
These are the steps I need to complete:
a) Create a folder and file hierarchy of all my products
b) Put the information into a spreadsheet.
c) Automatically generate SKU numbers, based on the spreadsheet information.
d) Add the SKU number, to each product filename. So it is easy to remember and pick and order, when a customer buys.
I need a consistent SKU system, that can be used for millions of car parts.
