Create PHP codeigniter function

Hello... I have an API in the same system and a dashboard, the API makes records to the database and in the backend I display the data... I want to do is that in the dashboard when inserting a new record from the api reflect without the need to refresh the screen I am using PHP framework codeigniter 3 and mysql database.
