Core Web Vitals Optimization for MODX Site

Job ID: 39384971

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Title: Improve INP to <200ms on MODX site (Core Web Vitals Optimization)

Description:

We are looking for a frontend performance expert to help us optimize INP (Interaction to Next Paint) on our MODX-based website. The goal is to bring the homepage INP below 200ms so that it falls within the green zone of Core Web Vitals.

Important Context:

We are aware that MODX has architectural limitations. Many low-level performance techniques are not available out of the box, such as:

* Async/defer control over 3rd-party scripts
* Custom asset bundling or tree-shaking
* Inlining critical CSS
* Advanced lazy-loading or priority hints
* Performance profiling for layout shifts or long tasks

We've already tried minor performance tweaks and custom code, but the INP is still not improving significantly.

Your Task:

* Analyze the current INP score and identify the most realistic improvements possible within MODX limitations
* Optimize JS execution, reduce long tasks, and improve responsiveness of interaction events
* Defer non-essential scripts, reduce render-blocking behavior
* Minimize DOM complexity if applicable
* Provide a short performance audit report (before/after)

Budget: \$195 (fixed)

Requirements:

* Experience with Core Web Vitals (especially INP, TBT)
* Proven track record of improving interaction responsiveness
* Comfortable working within MODX limitations
* Able to explain what's feasible and what's not

If you understand the limitations and believe you can realistically improve INP under 200ms — apply with your plan of action.
