Core PHP Developer for QloApps Upgrades
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We are seeking an experienced Core PHP Developer to assist us in understanding and making updates to our open-source project hosted on GitHub - QloApps (https://github.com/Qloapps/QloApps). This project does not rely on any modern frameworks like Laravel but is built purely using core PHP. The ideal candidate will have solid PHP skills, the ability to navigate legacy codebases, and a deep understanding of PHP without any dependency on frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand the existing codebase: Thoroughly review and analyze the current open-source code on GitHub (QloApps).
2. Implement Changes: Make necessary updates, improvements, or fixes to the code as required.
Documentation: Ensure that any changes made are well-documented and the code is clean, readable, and maintainable.
3. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with our internal team to clarify requirements and provide regular updates on progress.
4. Testing: Test changes locally to ensure that the application runs smoothly after modifications.
Skills Required:
1. Proven experience with Core PHP (without frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
2. Strong experience in working with legacy PHP codebases
3. Familiarity with Git for version control
4. Good understanding of object-oriented PHP
5. Experience in debugging and optimizing PHP code
6. Ability to write clean, maintainable code
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate remotely
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with working on open-source PHP projects
2. Experience in MySQL or other relational databases
3. Familiarity with building or maintaining eCommerce systems (as QloApps is an eCommerce platform)
Payment:
The payment for this project is between ₹25,000 - 30000 (INR) upon completion and successful review of the updates made. Please note this compensation is for 3 - 4 API creations, for further work on this project, we can discuss later if the candidate is willing to continue.
