Description:
We are in search of a talented Core PHP developer with expertise in the latest version of Drupal to assist us with the revamp of our web platform. As a Project Manager overseeing this initiative, I am seeking an individual who can not only contribute to development tasks but also provide valuable insights through code reviews of our existing codebase.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with our development team to revamp our web platform using Core PHP and the latest version of Drupal.
2. Implement new features and enhancements according to project requirements and technical specifications.
3. Conduct thorough code reviews of existing codebase to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance optimization.
4. Work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to troubleshoot issues, debug code, and address technical challenges.
5. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the codebase and development processes.
Requirements:
1. Proficient in Core PHP development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
2. Extensive experience with the latest version of Drupal, including module development, theming, and customization.
3. Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
4. Proven track record of conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
6. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
7. Prior experience in web platform revamp projects or similar large-scale development projects is preferred.
Additional Information:
1. This is a remote freelance opportunity.
2. The selected candidate will work closely with our development team and will be provided with access to our existing codebase for review and enhancement.
