Comprehensive System Upgrade Project
Budget: $10 – $100 AUD
Key Areas for Focus
1. Access Control
* Issue: Contractors currently have access to all levels of information, including other contractors’ data. This is a serious privacy breach.
* Solution:
* Implement hierarchical access controls based on user roles and permissions.
* Restrict access to sensitive data so contractors can only view their own profiles and associated documentation.
2. Document Management
* Issue:
* Uploaded documents are not appearing for approval.
* Links to documents are broken or non-functional.
* Solution:
* Debug and fix the document upload and approval workflows.
* Ensure document links are dynamically generated and accessible.
* Allow Powertec admins to review and approve documents efficiently.
3. Compliance Tracking
* Issue: Not all compliance items are visible for review by Powertec.
* Solution:
* Conduct a full audit of compliance categories.
* Implement a dynamic compliance list tailored to specific contractors and their work requirements.
4. Master Service Agreement (MSA)
* Issue: Contractors currently have the option to access MSAs, which should only be an admin-controlled function.
* Solution:
* Remove the MSA option from contractor view.
* Enable only Powertec admins to add MSAs when necessary.
5. Multi-Attachment Functionality
* Issue: Compliance sections currently allow only a single attachment per item.
* Solution:
* Upgrade the attachment functionality to support multiple files for each compliance item (e.g., multiple certificates or licenses).
6. Regional Compliance Requirements
* Issue: Work Cover compliance requires state-specific dropdowns.
* Solution:
* Add a state-selection dropdown for Work Cover compliance to ensure proper categorization and verification.
7. Contractor Induction Process
* Issue:
* Lack of clarity on how contractors onboard their staff after induction.
* No document or popup for contractors to sign as part of Powertec’s induction process.
* Solution:
* Define a clear workflow for contractors to send induction links to their staff.
* Add a popup or digital signature module for Powertec induction.
8. Employee Details
* Issue: Missing required fields for critical certifications and licenses (e.g., blue card, working at heights, driver’s license).
* Solution:
* Expand employee details form to include mandatory fields for these certifications.
* Enable attachment functionality for uploading these documents.
9. Data Storage
* Issue: Lack of clarity on where data and attachments will be stored.
* Solution:
* Define a centralized storage system for all contractor and compliance data.
* Ensure data storage complies with security and privacy standards (e.g., encrypted storage).
