Complex multi-website virus/malware removal

We require somebody to help us locate and remove a virus on our website.
The virus is randomly redirecting customers to Russian websites. We cannot locate the source of the virus. It appears to initiate from index.php.
Please read these important points before bidding
- The redirect happens randomly. It is very hard to make it happen. Most of our staff members have been unable to recreate the issue themselves
- It occurs randomly throughout the website. You may find it impossible to see the virus in action
- We have checked index.php and all included files and cannot find any source of malware or redirects
- There are no .ru links or other visible domains in any of the source files
- There are over 500,000 files on each website. These are large ecommerce stores
- A paid scan by Securi (web scan and server side scan) found NO virus
