Complete a streaming website
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I hired a freelancer to develop a streaming website that is based on Billiards (Pool) and connects to a company called Streaming Video Provider (they are the stream provider) by API. He's worked on the site for about 2 months, then one day disappeared and closed his account. Now, I am left with a partially finished website and need to have this completed ASAP as I have a huge event coming up where we want to utilize the website.
This is a laravel site and is hosted on a dedicated server.
Email out is not working. I believe it's due to the .env not being configured to send mail locally, but not sure.
Signup form, lost password form and others do not work.
On the contact us page, need to clean it up and remove the address, call and email us. Then move the contact us form up and then make that form available to all customers, whether or not they are logged in or just visiting the site.
The site is very slow to load and even accessing the /admin page is slow. I believe this is due to the API connection to the streaming video provider attempting to load all videos and playlists. When you click login to the admin page, there is nothing to show that the login has been attempted. I told him to load the site, then in the background load the API so the videos show after the initial page loads. He claims he did it but it certainly does not show that.
The previous freelancer setup an option in admin to add a video that is on the streaming video provider backend to the homepage. But what I also need is the option to add an upcoming event that I added in SVP to the homepage so people can purchase the live stream ahead of time if they want. I can explain more on this to the selected Freelancer.
The API to streaming video provider is completed (I believe) but there are some items that need to be fixed in the admin. For example when you login to admin and go to All Live videos, it's again slow to load but once it loads (and sometimes I have to refresh the page). It's also got broken images on this page.
If you are logged out of the site and just visiting, when you click the profile link in the upper right hand corner it actually loads a profile and it shouldn't. Try it....
I have a cookie, terms of use and privacy policy that needs to be linked to the footer.
I am sure there is more as I've lost a lot of time and money already on this project and it's now crunch time.
You must know what your doing to bid on this project! Dedication to this project is a must as not only will this site be used for our upcoming event, but it will also be used for many other Billiard events.
I need this complete in 7 days or less.
