Codeigniter Hospital MS Changes

I have a Codeigniter based HMS that I need some updates and changes made to. I would like to link the system functions to a central finance module i.e I need when I bill a patient the record goes into a GL or the COA and can be pulled when I run a report to show the Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, General Ledger, Profit and Loss, Petty Cash, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

I would like the process to merge with my current system thus ensuring the records are captured correctly in my financial books.
