CodeIgniter 3 to CodeIgniter 4 Migration -- 2

We are urgently looking for an experienced CodeIgniter developer to migrate our existing web application from CodeIgniter 3 (CI3) to CodeIgniter 4 (CI4).

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in upgrading/migrating CI3 projects to CI4 and a deep understanding of CI4’s structure, including namespaces, composer integration, and routing.

Project Requirements:

Migrate existing project from CI3 to CI4 with full functionality retained.

Update controllers, models, libraries, and helpers to CI4 structure and standards.

Ensure database integrity and smooth migration without data loss.

Implement security improvements and performance optimization.

Provide clean, well-documented code.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with CodeIgniter 3 & 4

PHP 7/8 and MySQL expertise

Familiarity with Composer and modern PHP standards (PSR-4)

Experience with REST API development & integration

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
