Ckeditor5, Codeigntier4 - configure SimpleUploadAdapter to allow image uploads

This is for a site in development. We currently are working on our blog module and implementing ckeditor5. This is for the admin backend and we need to allow image uploads to /uploads/posts/ using the SimpleUploadAdpapter.
