Chess Chatbot & Analysis Tool Development

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to build a cutting-edge chess analysis and training tool that will be integrated into our existing web platform. This project aims to empower chess players with deeper insights, preparation tools, and personalized learning experiences — all driven through an intuitive, interactive chatbot interface.
Project Overview
The goal is to develop a web-based module focused on interactive chess learning and preparation, seamlessly integrated with our current site. At its core will be a conversational chatbot that serves as a coach, helping users analyze games, study opponents, explore openings, and manage their own game database.

Key Features to Develop
The application will include several core components:

1. Chess Game Analysis
Users should be able to input or paste PGN game data, or fetch games using IDs from platforms like Lichess and Chess.com. Once fetched or input, the tool should utilize Stockfish for engine analysis, with insights and suggestions explained conversationally via the chatbot.

2. Opponent Preparation
This feature will allow users to retrieve and analyze recent games of a specific opponent (via Lichess or Chess.com) and receive strategic summaries of that player's playing style, common openings, and weaknesses — all via the chatbot.

3. Opening Explorer
An integrated opening database to let users browse, study, and save favorite lines, with the ability to reference their own games where those openings were played.

4. Personal Game Database
A secure area for users to store, tag, and revisit their analyzed games, with categorization based on date, opponent, opening, etc.

5. Chatbot Interface
This will be the core engagement point. It should be smart, user-friendly, and able to provide human-like guidance on all chess-related activities such as analysis interpretation, opening recommendations, and opponent tendencies.

6. Seamless Integration
The tool must be built with modularity and compatibility in mind. Final deployment should integrate cleanly with our existing website infrastructure (details will be provided upon selection).

Developer Requirements
We are looking for a developer who meets the following criteria:

-Solid full-stack development experience using React or Vue on the frontend, and Node.js or Python (preferably FastAPI or Django) on the backend.
-Strong grasp of PostgreSQL or equivalent database systems.
-Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs, especially Lichess and Chess.com.
-Familiarity with chess engines (like Stockfish) and experience using UCI or WASM implementations.
-Demonstrated ability to build interactive and responsive UIs, especially involving chat or real-time data rendering.
-Comfortable working within and integrating with existing web architectures.
-Effective communication, collaboration, and Git proficiency are essential.
