We are looking to develop a web-based or messaging-interface assistant that interacts with users using OpenAI’s GPT API. The system should support contextual memory per user, a trial usage period, and a subscription payment system for continued access.
**Key Features Required:**
1. **AI Assistant Integration:**
- Uses the OpenAI API (GPT-4 or GPT-3.5-turbo) for processing user input
- Supports **persistent context memory** per user (each user’s conversation history must be stored and used for context-aware replies)
- Reset context option for users
- Configurable system messages (welcome, trial info, etc.)
2. **User Management & Access Control:**
- Free **trial period** for new users (e.g., number of messages or days)
- After trial ends, prompt user to upgrade to a **paid plan**
- Subscription tiers (monthly, yearly) – configurable by admin
3. **Payment Integration:**
- Stripe is preferred (others like PayPal or crypto optional)
- After payment, system automatically updates user status and grants access
- Auto-renewal and email/payment notifications (optional)
4. **Admin Tools:**
- Admin interface or dashboard to:
- View active users and subscription status
- Modify user access manually
- Adjust pricing, trial settings, etc.
- View usage statistics
5. **Technical Stack (Flexible):**
- Backend: Python (FastAPI / Flask) or Node.js (Express)
- Frontend (if needed): Lightweight interface (can be CLI-style or basic web form)
- Database: PostgreSQL / SQLite for storing user data and conversation history
- Hosting: Should be deployable on standard VPS (Ubuntu preferred)
