X-Cart UX and Functionality Enhancement for Auto Parts Store

I'm seeking an experienced X-Cart developer to customize our live auto parts eCommerce store.

We're looking to enhance the user experience, specifically in the area of product display.

- Custom Vehicle Fitment System
Year/Make/Model dropdowns with conditional logic
Compatibility mapping to existing products
Category & Brand Mapping Enhancements
Improved admin interface for mapping ASAP, SEMA, and custom feeds
Eliminate duplicate/conflicting category creation during imports

- Design & UX Improvements
Updated homepage layout with hero slider and promotional blocks
Enhanced category grid and filtering options
Mobile and desktop menu adjustments (including “Build By Vehicle” option)

- Performance & SEO Enhancements
Clean up URLs, avoid duplicate content
Optimize page speed and lazy loading of images
Ensure proper meta tag generation per product and category

- Integration & Automation
Streamlined product import workflow
Automation of inventory syncs and pricing updates
Integration with Affirm and other financing/payment solutions

- Requirements:
Proven experience with X-Cart 5+ customization and development
Familiarity with auto parts data (ASAP, SEMA, TecDoc feeds is a plus)
Strong understanding of eCommerce UX and SEO best practices
