Confirmation of Checkout Roadmap
At checkout the customer selects the country of delivery
The API will calculate from the total weight of product SKUs the carbon calculation to the destination country and this will be shown to the customer
The option of Planting a Tree for £1 is shown to offset those emissions
Also once clicked, a check box will appear for the option for the customer to create an account with One Tree World which will collect personal data with a view of providing data/reports on their “green customers”
When the checkout has been completed
1. A confirmation email is sent to the customer with link to create a password for their account with OTW
2. Details of that tree purchase will then populate the “dashboard’ of the retailer
3. The social media link will appear for customers to share on social media
Customer account with One Tree World
1. A visual dashboard simialr to the retailers where tree animations appear to reflect their purchases
2. Showcase other retailers who are participating
The retail partner, then also receives the detail of the order and it appears in a dashboard where they can see how many customers have planted tree within a given time period - weekly, monthly etc

This is to be developed on a demo WooCommerce website so that we can showcase it to our clients. When we sign up new clients, there will be further development work for each new client so a potential for a revenue pipeline.
