Dealers should be able to add, update, and delete truck listings.

Listings should include images, descriptions, prices, and truck specifications.

Search & Filters:

Buyers should be able to filter listings based on make, model, year, location, and price.

Lead Management:

Inquiry forms on listings should capture leads and notify the dealer.

Leads should be stored in a backend CRM.

2. Dealer-Specific Websites

Automated Website Creation:

Each dealer gets a separate WordPress website upon registration.

The website should have a default template with branding options (logo, colors, contact info).

Inventory Synchronization:

The dealer’s website should display the same inventory they uploaded to the main directory.

Any updates (additions, modifications, deletions) made on the main website should reflect on the dealer’s site.

Custom Domain Option:

Dealers can either use a subdomain (e.g., dealername.mainwebsite.com) or link their custom domain.

Lead Capture & CRM Integration:

Leads from the dealer’s website should sync with the main website’s CRM.

Question 2: If a dealer updates their inventory on their individual website, should it also update the main directory automatically?

3. Backend & Admin Features

Admin Dashboard:

Manage dealer registrations and subscriptions.

Monitor inventory and website performance.

Subscription & Payment System:

Free & premium plans for dealers.

Payment gateway integration for subscription-based access.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track leads, website traffic, and inventory performance.

Question 3: What security measures should be implemented to protect dealer data?

4. Technical Stack

Backend: PHP Laravel (for inventory sync, dealer management, CRM integration)

Database: MySQL

Hosting: Cloud-based hosting with scalability

APIs:

REST API for inventory synchronization between main and dealer websites.

Payment gateway API (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)

Question 4: How would you handle API rate limits for inventory synchronization?
