Cakephp mainly frontend possibly long terms
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have a legacy CakePHP 2.4.1 (very old version, I know) application that we need to add some features to it.
I would really prefer someone with CakePHP experience, but if you prove that you can learn fast, nd if you have experience with more modern framework like laravel is also ok
The project is all inside a cakephp plugin, so if you have experience with that it is a big plus.
Current tasks are mainly frontend, and I think are pretty basic.
- Add/edit/delete to a table in database.
- Show progress bar while doing a backend operation (show the 10%, 20%, 30%..100% using the response data). The backend for this is already implemented.
Other requirements:
- Must have docker (the development environment is using it)
- Must know how to work with git
You need to know things like controllers, models, migrations, and build good maintainable code.
On the frontend, you need to be able to make a responsive design. Knowledge of modern css features like flexbox is a big plus.
If you are good, it is possible that this task/project with have more features required in the future, or we can give you more tasks from other projects that we have.
I am looking for someone that will be my go to guy for everything that is php/laravel/cakephp related. If you have experience in other languages it is possible that we will have even more work for you
