CakePHP Email SMTP Troubleshooting and Fix

I've been facing SMTP issues with my CakePHP application hosted on a aws server and godaddy email account with WHM and cPanel. The application is erroneously sending emails to multiple users and generating internal server errors. The SMTP for this application is a Custom SMTP.
- Issue started: Within the last week.
- Changes: There have been no recent modifications to either the server or the code.
I am seeking a seasoned CakePHP developer with a strong background in SMTP troubleshooting. Expertise in dealing with WHM and cPanel is a plus. Please provide your bid if you can help me resolve this issue.
you would need to come on anydesk and work on the issue live , as i would not be able to give you username / password or code file as it is a ready made off-the shelf code purchase from an old vendor and it works on my whitelisted domain.
