Building a platform for a lottery website
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am setting up a team of developers working from Nairobi, to create a website platform that sells lottery tickets for international lotteries, similar to this one: redfoxlotto.com.
I have created a video that will give you an overview of the most important functionalities of the website frontend and backend.
Technology:
WordPress, HTML, css for CMS
php, MySQL or PostgreSQL for database
Alternatively: Node.js (backend?), React.js (frontend?)
RESTful API for integrations
The project will include:
A) Frontend development - the frontend functions for ticket sales, and customer account area will have to be integrated into a multilingual WordPress site, meaning the development of widgets that can be integrated into specific pages of a WordPress website.
B) Development of the backend for the operator (Customer Retention Management).
C) Backend for the customer
D) Miscellaneous integrations (payment service providers, ticket purchasing as a service provided by a third party)
I will hire a team of 4 developers on the basis of a fixed monthly salary. The project management will be done in the fashion of Agile Project Management. If you have experience in agile project management, please let me know. One of the 4 developers will take a lead role in the project.
My estimate is that it will take 1500-2000 coding hours to complete. The timeline is important, the project should be ready to launch within 3 months.
Due to the timeline, I would prefer for the team to work from the same space (in Nairobi) under my supervision. Some of the basic work can be started right away and remotely (mainly establishing the database, and the framework for the CRM, as well as some work on the WordPress website). This is the part for which I have defined the budget of this project.
The start of the project will be around or after August 15th, 2022 (except for the parts that can be done remotely). I will come to Nairobi in August 22, and set up a business structure ready to employ staff.
After completion and launch of the project, at least 2 of the developers will be retained on a monthly compensation basis for maintenance, improvements, and adding of additional functions.
Please respond here if you are interested. Give me some info on your qualifications, and suggestions on the technology you think should be used.
