Building a School Learning Management System (LMS)/BlackBoard
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a potential client who wants a blackboard/Learning Management System (LMS) built for them. The hosting will be on Godaddy Virtual Private Server (VPS) - the BlackBoard/LMS site will be linked to an existing school website.
We are currently scoping the BlackBoard to have 4 access categories:
1. Super Admin: (few people can share than access) - will be able to create accounts for admins
2. Admin: (IT folks can have that access) - create accounts and grant access to teachers
3. Super User: Teachers and Faculties - create access for their students, Create course contents, Publish courses, assignments and announcements, grade students assignments and exams and publish results
4. User - Students: View/access assignments, submit assignments, view results, view announcements, chat with teachers, chat with teachers/faculty support staff etc
The teachers will be able to create course contents for different classes and add their own students that are enrolled to their classes. Then the students will receive an email that invites them to log in and complete the course enrollment - either by username and password or by entering a special course enrollment code or both.
I need quotes in terms of cost and time to complete the work. If you have experience with similar projects, kindly post a link to your previous work. Please, only respond if you can work within the budget. Thank you.
