Build a streaming website
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are starting a new media company and are in need of a new member website that will allow us to connect to a live stream platform via an API. I already have a template that is geared toward a streaming platform, it just needs to be edited. This will be a pay per view and subscription based website. Details about that are below.
You may view the live website template here:
http://www.poolhalltv.com
The template name is streamit and you can read all about it here:
https://themeforest.net/item/streamit-video-streaming-html-admin-template/28369705
There is no content on my website yet and the template is unedited at this time. You may use any of the following to create this:
HTML, React, Laravel, Vue & Nuxt. The template that you are viewing above on my website is in HTML. This is on a dedicated server with NO cpanel access. This is an ubuntu server and we also have webmin installed. It runs Apache2, PHP 8 and MySQL for a database.
The website will contain the following (and probably more).
Free user registration. Validation email required to activate account.
There will be an FAQ area and support helpdesk. When a person submits a ticket, that ticket would be tied to their profile where we can view it later. Any logged in staff member can reply to tickets. When you login to the admin, would like a small status area on the top. For example, it would say Users, Helpdesk, Stats, Reports. Next to the helpdesk I would like it to show the number of tickets that are unanswered. Helpdesk (3).
The site is geared towards the billiards niche. When we have a live stream, it will be on a pay per view basis or our members can purchase monthly or yearly memberships that would allow them access to videos. The pay per view and subscription content is all handled through the API to the stream provider. So the only real work there is populating the content when a person makes a purchase.
The streaming provider is http://www.streamingvideoprovider.com and you can access their API info here:

We will need the ability to suspend user accounts. On the user profile I would also like to track IP, browser & logins. This will be for USA residents mostly but will allow registrations from other countries so we will need to capture the country, city, state and zip when the user registers. This data MUST be shown on the user profile and on the admin side of things.
Along with all the normal things you need in a membership website (user profile, allow email change, close account etc...) I will have a cookie policy, privacy policy and user agreement that all must be agreed to before an account is registered.
The Admin will control all aspects of the site (the template makes this much easier).
I would prefer a freelancer that has done work with API's and one that has done work with streaming companies before. This could turn into full time work if things go well with the company and your work is to our standards.
Also please note**** We've had too many freelancers bid on a job only to later say they have to charge more because they didn't realize the amount of work required. I refuse to work with anyone like this so please stick to your bid.
Thanks and happy bidding!
