The project centres on building a full-scale, multi-vendor marketplace that mirrors Amazon’s core buyer-seller experience. The platform must accommodate separate buyer, seller, and admin areas, each with its own dashboard, while sharing a single, searchable product catalogue and a smooth, secure checkout flow.

• Core features
– Vendor onboarding with storefront creation, product listing, inventory, pricing, discount and shipment management
– Buyer journey from product discovery to order tracking, returns and reviews
– Real-time search, category filtering, wish-lists and personalised recommendations
– Responsive design that loads quickly on mobile and desktop
– Flexible payment-gateway layer allowing future addition of card processors, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.
– Robust admin console for user management, dispute handling, analytics, fees and commission settings

• Technical scope
– Open to modern stacks such as React/Next, Vue/Nuxt or Laravel/Livewire on the front end, with a scalable back end (Node, Django, Laravel or similar) and a relational database.
– Clean, well-documented code stored in a private Git repository; CI/CD pipeline to a cloud host (AWS, DigitalOcean, or comparable).
– Adherence to OWASP security best practices and GDPR-ready data handling.

• Deliverables & acceptance criteria
1. Clickable UI prototype demonstrating buyer and seller flows
2. MVP with user registration, product listing, cart, and checkout deployed to a staging URL
3. Full feature set, stress-tested for at least 1 000 concurrent users, with automated test coverage above 80 %
4. Production launch, complete documentation, and a two-week post-launch bug-fix window
