SmartBook AI is a scalable SaaS platform helping small service-based businesses (barbers, beauty pros, instructors, etc.) automate their lead handling, quoting, scheduling, and customer communication using GPT-4 and a conversational interface.
We’re seeking a top-tier automation developer or small dev team to fully build Model 1 of our platform. This MVP will allow us to onboard new clients, dynamically respond to leads with pricing/availability logic, and deliver a functional system that operates with minimal manual involvement.

What You’ll Build (Model 1 Scope)
This is a full-stack GPT-4 powered automation system with:
1. Client Onboarding System
• Web-based onboarding form (Tally, Webflow, or React)
• Collect:
• Business name
• Services offered (name, price, duration)
• Weekly availability
• Booking rules
• Save structured configs using client-specific ID (via Supabase or Airtable)
2. Messaging Assistant (using approved Messaging API)
• One central bot handles all clients
• Bot identifies the client via message trigger (e.g. pre-filled phrase or shortcode)
• Dynamically loads client logic and handles:
• Quote generation
• Availability checks
• Booking confirmation
• Internal notifications
• Lead reminders
• “CANCEL” and “UPDATE” logic for end-users
• Each conversation session is fully isolated to the correct client
3. Client Plan Logic
• Feature access is controlled by plan level (Starter only for MVP)
• Backend allows future upgrades (e.g., reviews, broadcasts, payments)
4. Logging & Booking System
• All interactions logged with:
• User contact reference
• Timestamps
• Booking status (booked, cancelled, no-show)
• Errors and fallback states
• Booking records saved in structured table format
5. Smart Link Generator
• System generates a personalized booking link per client
• Optional QR code and post-ready caption
• Sent after internal testing is complete
6. Config Management via Messaging
• Clients can send a keyword to begin update flow (e.g., “UPDATE”)
• Bot will:
• Display editable fields (services, availability, prices)
• Validate and store changes
• Confirm update was successful
7. Internal Admin Dashboard
• View:
• All clients
• Plan level
• Booking metrics
• Last activity
• Error logs
• Setup status (onboarding, test, live)
8. Test Mode Toggle
• Each new client starts in test mode
