Build an API for 2 platforms
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I am looking for a developer to build an API for our liquor project. The ideal candidate should have experience in web and desktop development and be able to integrate the API with an existing database.
Requirements:
- Build an API for web and desktop platforms
- Possibly cloud-based, depending on feasibility
- Integration with an existing database, potentially two
I haven't done this one before, so this part is very new to me. I have worked with quite a large number of Freelancers on this platform for over 10 years and employ 6 remote staff currently.
The integration I need you to build will connect Shopline POS to woo-commerce and potentially Odoo (i'm just trialing Odoo now).

We have a number of APIs available for integration (using OAuth 2.0 for authentication) including a GraphQL API (for retrieving information about individual items / collections), a Reporting API (for aggregated reports on sales, purchases, and more), an Embedded API (that allows you to embed your own content within Shopfront), a Payment API (to create custom payment methods that can be used in the register) and also a Webhook API (which can be used to keep content "live" between Shopfront and your application).
The documentation for all of these can be found at https://developer.onshopfront.com. The APIs can be used to develop nearly any application, the Shopfront user interface is built on top of these exact same APIs.
