Bug fixxing/ reqrite my chat request function

I have an cms website. here I have a bug in my "Chat request" function, I want to fix this issue, or write a new "chat request" function the following problem: If I go to "chat request" page and then back to "open chats" page, I see "chat requests" on the "open chats" page.
