Developer Needed: Online 2D Photo → 3D Converter (Depth Map / Point Cloud)

I’m looking for a skilled developer to build an online tool that converts 2D photos into 3D bubblegram-style models, using depth estimation and point cloud generation techniques (similar to volumetric engraving or Cockpit 3D outputs).

Key Requirements:
• Web-based converter: upload a 2D photo → generate 3D model
• Output style: dot cloud / bubblegram effect (with adjustable point density)
• Optional background removal
• Export formats: .STL and/or .OBJ
• Real-time or near real-time preview if possible

Ideal Skills & Experience:
• Strong proficiency in Python, OpenCV, NumPy, and PCL
• Familiarity with MiDaS or similar depth estimation models
• Experience with 3D file formats (.STL, .OBJ) and mesh reconstruction
• Optional: Web integration using PHP, Flask, or FastAPI
• Understanding of volumetric point cloud rendering

Deliverables:
• Functional online tool (with UI for uploading and converting images)
• Adjustable parameters (point size, density, depth intensity, background toggle)
• Export/download options for 3D files
• Source code and setup documentation
