Blu-ray Java Menu Update -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need the interactive Java menus on four “Planet Earth 2006” Blu-ray discs updated so they each offer one new audio-track choice. All discs share the same menu structure and artwork; I’ve included a reference photo so you can see the existing layout and button styling.
Scope
• Insert the additional audio-track button into the current graphic menu for every disc (total of four discs).
• Ensure BD-J logic links the new button to the correct audio stream on each title.
• Preserve every other function exactly as it is—chapter navigation, pop-up menu, subtitles, and all current audio selections must remain untouched.
• Deliver compiled menu files (BD-JO, JAR, CLIPINF, etc.) ready for authoring, plus the edited source so I can archive the changes.
Technical Notes
The original discs were authored with standard BD-J code; if you normally work in Scenarist BD, Adobe Encore, MultiAVCHD, or similar tools, that’s fine as long as you return fully functional BD folders. Test playback on a hardware Blu-ray player and a software player (e.g., PowerDVD or VLC with Java enabled) to confirm the new track appears and switches correctly with no broken links.
Acceptance
I’ll consider the job complete once each disc boots, displays the extra audio option in the same design style, and the selection toggles seamlessly during playback. Task management access will be granted after we start so you can pull the assets and push updates efficiently.
If anything in the brief is unclear, let me know before you begin so we don’t waste time on re-work.
