Blood Donation Management Web Platform
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are a non-profit organization with a mission to facilitate voluntary blood donations. Our association has four divisions, organizing donation campaigns in collaboration with local hospitals. We host blood drives at our premises three times a year, where collected blood is donated free of charge to hospitals for patients in need.
Our current website, www.ddk.ba, was built using Joomla CMS and the FlexiContent component. However, the system is outdated and lacks robust filtering and reporting functionalities.
Project Description:
We want to develop a web-based application to manage and monitor voluntary blood donations efficiently.
Backend Requirements:
Tables:
Administrators
Cities
Countries
Work Units
Blood Groups
Users (Name, Gender, Address, City, Phone, Email, Blood Group)
Blood Donations (Date, Location)
Blog
Core Functionalities:
Admin to input all users (approx. 300) with detailed information, including Name, Gender, Address, ID Number, Date of Birth, City, Work Unit, Blood Group, Phone, and Email. Dropdown menus for fields like Blood Group to standardize entries.
Admins should log each donation (date and location) per user. The system should display the total number of donations and the last donation date prominently.
A field to indicate whether a user can donate blood based on the interval:
Male: 90 days after the last donation
Female: 120 days after the last donation
Red alert for "CANNOT DONATE" (if within the interval) and green alert for "CAN DONATE" (if outside the interval).
Frontend Requirements:
User-friendly standard website layout.
Image slideshow with a menu for filtering users by:
Blood Group
Number of Donations (range filter)
Organizational Unit
City
Blog section for news and event reports (with images and descriptions).
Dynamic plugin showing the total number of users per blood group (e.g., A+ (50 users), B- (20 users)).
Newsline to display scheduled blood drive dates for the year.
Administrator Roles:
Superadmin: Full system access, including all tables and forms.
Admin: Access limited to a specific organizational unit, with permissions to manage only the relevant unit’s data.
User: Frontend access to log personal donations into their account.
Additional Notes:
This is an informational request for proposals.
As a non-profit organization, we operate on a limited budget and aim to secure financing for this initiative by applying for donor-funded projects.
What We Need from You:
A cost estimate for this project.
Links to similar projects you’ve developed, including a demo showcasing the admin panel and front end.
We found something similar here https://demo.phpscriptpoint.com/bloodbank/ but we need some modifications according to our proposal.
Thank you in advance for your interest and proposals!
