Bakery software/database
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am planning to open a bakery, so I need to create a software that helps me manage some key aspects; as of right now, I am thinking of the following modules:
1) INGREDIENTS, where I will enter all ingredients used in the preparation of the items mentioned in the Recipes module. This may be a simple spreadsheet/database that includes a "Cost" field.
2) RECIPES, where I can enter the procedures for preparing each item that will be offered for sale. This module will use the "Cost" field from the ingredients module, in order to determine the overall cost of producing the item.
This would be the initial phase of the project; later on, I would add further modules to manage things like inventories (of raw materials), sales, invoicing, accounts payable, payroll, etc.
I am open to any simple platform; please keep in mind this will be a small, artisan bakery, so things must be kept simple. Initially, I was thinking of using Microsoft Access or SQL Server, but I am open to other options.
