Backend PHP Developer with extensive experience in mid-enterprise level web apps on Laravel framewrk
Budget: $20 – $100 USD
We’re an up and coming company in the igaming and cryptocurrency sector seeking a backend PHP developer with extensive experience in mid to enterprise level web applications on Laravel framework. The applicant must have PROVEN past experience with the following disciplines along with the specific technologies listed below:
Extensive Backend PHP development utilizing an event-driven architecture (EDA). High proficiency working on complex business logic with multiple data streams from both internal and external APIs.
Laravel framework
AWS Lambda Serverless development
Some Node experience preferred
Some Vue.js experience preferred
Low-latency, security-focused API development for real-time bi-directional data transfer between frontend and backend.
GraphQL / GraphiQL (our primary API layer is using this tech)
Hasura experience is a plus
REST (some required)
At least some knowledge on cryptocurrency and how they operate on the infrastructure level (ie. block explorers, transactions, mining, staking, etc).
Past experience interacting programmatically with cryptocurrency nodes is a plus
Relational and non-relational database development for larger data sets along with implementation of key-value databases for caching.
Postgresql (primary focus)
BigQuery as data warehouse (or other non-relational database used as DWH)
Redis Clusters
Knowledge and proper use of continuous integration (CI) practices throughout the development process.
Version Control with multiple developers (Git)
Writing unit tests first approach for minimal “only whats required” code development
Proficient working on a remote team with other devs and creatives while leveraging agile methodologies and project management software.
Jira/Confluence - User stories
Working in weekly/biweekly sprints and being able to make proper estimations
Slack for team communication
The applicant should be forward thinking in their development practices and is able to efficiently problem solve on the move. Prior igaming/casino development is a big plus, however not required.
