We're seeking a skilled PHP/CodeIgniter developer to create an invoice audit tool for our e-commerce backend. This tool will automate the processing and validation of invoices received as PDF attachments in Gmail.
Project Scope:
Email Integration & PDF Extraction:
Develop functionality to fetch invoices from Gmail.
Extract PDF attachments.
Invoice Validation:
Validate invoices based on invoice/sales acknowledgement number and supplier.
Data Storage:
Store validated invoices as structured files in Amazon S3 for efficient retrieval.
Scrape invoice data and store it in a MySQL database for reporting and audits.
User Interface (UI):
Create a user-friendly UI for manual invoice data entry and validation.
Implement a side-by-side view:
Left side: Data automatically extracted from the PDF.
Right side: Input fields for manual data entry/correction.
The UI needs to be fast, bug free, and cross browser compatible.
Workflow:
Enable batch processing of daily invoices.
Upon submission, the PDF is stored in S3, and data is saved to the database.
Integration:
Seamless integration with our existing PHP/CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database.
Collaboration:
Close collaboration to confirm view options and database table structure.
Required Skills:
Strong PHP and CodeIgniter framework experience.
Experience with MySQL databases.
