Backend Developer for Advanced Engineering Team

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer operating in the united states of America to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, APIs, and other backend infrastructure that powers our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance and reliable services.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Server-side Development:** Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to develop backend components and services.
- **API Design and Development:** Create and maintain APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc.) that interact with the frontend and other services.
- **Database Management:** Design and manage relational and non-relational databases, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency.
- **Integration:** Work closely with frontend developers and other teams to integrate user-facing elements with backend services.
- **Performance Optimization:** Identify bottlenecks and optimize the performance of the system (server, database, and network).
- **Security:** Implement and manage security and data protection protocols to safeguard user data and prevent unauthorized access.
- **Testing & Debugging:** Write unit tests and conduct debugging to ensure robust backend functionality.
- **Collaboration:** Work in an Agile development environment, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- **Documentation:** Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all backend systems, APIs, and codebases.

#### **Skills & Qualifications:**
- **Programming Languages:** Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, PHP, or Go.
- **Frameworks:** Experience with backend frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express, or Laravel.
- **Databases:** Strong experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- **Cloud Platforms:** Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying backend services.
- **Version Control:** Strong knowledge of Git for code versioning and collaboration.
- **Microservices Architecture:** Understanding and experience in building and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
- **CI/CD:** Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- **Security Knowledge:** Knowledge of authentication, authorization, encryption, and other security measures for backend development.
- **Problem-Solving:** Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- **Agile Development:** Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- **Communication Skills:** Good written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
