Auto Transport Pricing Tool Development

Project Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled developer to create an auto transport pricing tool similar to Montway.com. The tool must provide instant live quotes based on input from users and reference a vehicle database of 40,000+ entries selectable via dropdown.

What We Need:

A custom web-based pricing tool or embeddable widget

Quote engine that calculates real-time prices based on:

Pickup and delivery locations (Google Places Autocomplete preferred)

Vehicle year, make, and model (from a dropdown linked to a 40K+ vehicle database)

Open or enclosed transport option

Backend system for setting and adjusting pricing logic (e.g. per-mile base rate, route modifiers, vehicle size surcharges, etc.)

Database setup and integration (PostgreSQL or similar preferred)

Frontend designed for mobile and desktop responsiveness (Montway-style layout)

API-ready architecture (future integrations with CRM or booking system)

Admin interface to update pricing and manage quotes

Requirements:

Strong experience with modern web development (React, Vue, or similar)

Backend experience (Node.js, Python/FastAPI, or similar)

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)

Familiarity with Google Maps API (Places Autocomplete)

Experience building or working with quoting engines or ecommerce tools

Ability to deliver a clean, fast, professional UI/UX

Bonus: Experience with auto transport industry or similar logistics software
