Attendance SHEET system php Laravel or CodeIgniter

I am looking to create a secure attendance sheet system that is written in PHP using either Laravel or CodeIgniter. It will include user authentication such as registration and login, as well as admin features such as user management and analytics. I am open to suggestions when it comes to other solutions, however I would prefer it to be written in PHP and taking advantage of either Laravel or CodeIgniter. I am looking forward to hearing your ideas and proposals on how to best accomplish this task.
