Animal Rescue and Adoption Dashboard

I'm looking for a skilled developer to create an interactive Animal Rescue and Pet Finder Dashboard. This dashboard will serve dual purposes: displaying rescued animals and showcasing adoptable pets.

Core Features:
- Integration with Petfinder API
- Interactive map that allows users to click any of the 50 states- For example, if they click California, it will show them animals available in California for adoption, as well as animal shelters/humane societies in that state. it will also show animal related events in the state, along with Lost and found pets.
- Display rescued animals with details and status
- Show adoptable pets with details, photos, and shelter contact info
-Allow users to upload /edit table/database listings
-Allow users to send messages to each other ( via plugin)
-preferrably done with Wordpress CMS

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with API integration, especially Petfinder
- Proficient in map-based UI development
- Strong background in backend and frontend development
- Knowledge of database management to handle animal data
