Advanced Web Developer for VR Gaming Site Enhancements

Job ID: 38923698

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m looking for a freelance web developer who can add some functionality to a Processwire website. The site uses a combination of HTML5, SCSS, and Processwire but I am not proficient with JS and am looking for a developer who is. Much of the work I need to be done will be in JS, but someone fluent with PHP, Processwire, HTML5, & SCSS is key too, because much of the code intertwines between those technologies.

Here’s a list of what I need done:
• Page loading times optimized.
• I need lazy loading implemented everywhere possible (including modal, game card covers, & background images).
• Need a “New” tag on game cards if the release date is within the last 6 months.
• I need card sliders to slide when dragged (on mobile & PCs).
• Filters to hide/show game cards based on what buttons are active.
• Code the JS for a FAQs section on the home page, including showing answers when any given FAQ is active, and pagination.
• A responsive “Book Now” button on the home page hero.
• Animated down arrow at the bottom of the home page hero, encouraging users to scroll down.
• Need the page not to scroll when the mobile menu is active.
• Trailer buttons linked up to .WEBM trailer files.
• Need the site to be fully cross-browser compatible. Some of our icons are not showing up in Chrome and I need that fixed, as well as the site being fully tested to ensure full compatibility with all modern browsers.

The website is not live on the internet, so I will be sharing the website in a .ZIP file for you to deploy on your computer.
