Add product to cart immediatly when select variation

I want to make some modification to this product page workflow:

1) I want that when user select the amount, immediatly add to cart, without pressing "Add to cart button"
2) For "Other amount" selection, open a popup to choose amount with a button "Add to cart". So cart updates through jquery when pressing that button of the popup. (The reason of this is that we would not have the option to update cart when pressing "other", as user needs to write the amount first)
