Add new features to existing 'document portal' website

The website was built using PHP/MySQL/Bootstrap/JS technologies. The website is a simple ‘document management system’ with 2 areas:
• Admin area
• Client User area
I have some new features that I need adding (explained in the brief) summarised below:
TASK 1: Split file manager into 3 sections.
TASK 2 (3 parts): Add new features to chat system.
TASK 3: Add admin posts area
